It's that simple. If your pet is lost, anyone with a smartphone can scan the QR code on the back of the tag, share their GPS location, view your pet's profile and receive owner contact info.

How our Safe-Scan QR technology works:
Using the camera from any smartphone (no Hitail app required), the finder of your lost pet can scan the QR code on the back of the tag. This allows them to share their GPS location with you via text & email. This will also pull up your pet's profile page which includes pet, health, behavior, veterinarian, and owner contact info.

How pet profile's work:
Setting up a new pet profile and activating a tag only takes a couple minutes. Simply scan the QR code to begin the activation process. Enter your pet and owner info and that's it! Your tag is activated. You can have unlimited pet profiles and unlimited tags with no fees ever!

My pet is microchipped. Why is this better?
The Humane Society recommends microchips as a backup identification method, but never the primary method. A microchip requires a finder to take your pet to a shelter and the shelter to have a compatible scanner (there are many types!). Pets often end up spending the night in the shelter and significantly delaying their return. With Hitail QR tags, anyone with a smartphone can scan the tag and quickly reconnect you with your lost pet.

Are there any monthly fees?
Absolutely not! There are no hidden fees whatsoever. Only the initial purchase of the tag.

Another level of protection at a reasonable cost

Our dog already is chipped, has a GPS collar and the requisit tags. This is one additional level of peace of mind for a very reasonable cost. Plus it looks cool. Especially the Christmas tag. Love how it can be scanned and immediately provide all the necessary info.

I hope that Hitail is getting the word out to vets and shelters so that they check when strays are brought in. Not everyone will think to look on the back of a tag for a QR code. Suggest you include the plan for communication to these organizations in your marketing material.

The tag image is delightful! The tag info is most helpful! I didn’t get a chance to read if this tag had all the info already. Here are two helpful hints: make it easily known that the info is or is not on the new tag. And perhaps make available an easy ring to attach to a collar. That would be great!

Receiving HELP!

I asked for HELP 5! days ago getting NO answer. I'm not pleased.
I read wrong or never saw the SIZE choices. My Chihuahuas can not wear these tags. Even the Chihuahua one is too big for a 5-pound dog. I wonder if the CAT tags are smaller?? Can I send them back for an exchange? All tags are still attached. Never worn.
PLEASE answer me. I' would like to USE these tags!
